There is a need to provide an environmental life cycle assessment (LCA) learning environment in the Center, and to link various research projects with environmental assessment researchers. Phase I was the development of the initial LCA toolbox for the Center. Phase II is the extended focus on the transportation sector and the interface of these tools with other research projects. These include: 1: the development of case studies (pervious concrete, deicing) 2: additional modules, (recycling and a ferry (WSF) case study) 3: Evaluating the efficacy of the modules in a classroom
